"I could get Burger King on the way home..." the words slipped from my lips by mistake. The deacon saw my weakness and goaded me, "you could even get Wendy's." "But it isn't enough money for a pizza," I realized and be concurred. "Yes, it is not enough money for pizza." "But its enough to buy a politician!" He began cackling and rubbing his hands together, as did I. A deal had been made, and underprivileged children would forever pay full price for frozen meatloaf and juice. Curiously, however, when placing the ten upon my lovely Wayfair desk, I first noticed the stamp. "NOT TO BE USED TO BRIBE POLITICIANS." I yelped out, for as I read these profound words, a vision came to me: my hands were stained red with the blood of the constituents of the 9th District. I told that foul oligarch to begone, and instead authored a bill providing all inclusive free healthcare and mandatory vaccines. Stamp Stampede... I shudder when I think what would have happened if not for your ingenious guerilla tactic of stamping small bills. It's up to you to stop government corruption. You're our only hope. | 1 | |
