Riding your brakes for an extended amount of time produces friction, which in turn generates heat that might potentially cause damage to your brakes. This happens while you are going downhill. The brake pads will experience severe wear and tear as a result of your actions, and you will also be causing the discs to wear out. Riding the brakes downhill is a poor driving behavior that should be avoided in any vehicle; however, the problems it causes are amplified in older vehicles. It may be apparent, but a vehicle that is older will not be as technologically sophisticated as a car that is more recent, and as a result, the tolerances for wear will not be as high. What this backrooms game implies is that something that could be “just fine” in your 2020 Ford F-150 will cause your 1965 Mustang to experience costly wear and perhaps even get damaged.
