The WPS method is a very easy process to pair the extender with the router. When you are doing this method process then make sure that your router must have the WPS button.
To do this method process, locate your extender near the primary router. After that, press the WPS button of the Linksys extender and primary router. Now, the WiFi-protected setup LED starts flashing solid green on both extender and router gadgets. The solid green LED defines or indicates that the extender and router are both gadgets successfully linked with each other. After linking, place the extender in that location where you are facing slow internet speed.
By doing the above steps the Linksys RE6400 setup process by WPS method is completely done now. If the extender does not work properly after doing the WPS method process then try these tips.
Place the extender and router closer. Update the Linksys RE6400 extender software from time to time. Don’t place the extender near metal or electronic units. Turned on/off Linksys RE6400 WiFi range extender. Reset Linksys extender.
