Why I Stamp:

I am an elderly, retired, married woman with MS, with limited income.  My husband and I are middle class Americans.  I am so very tired of a rigged system that keeps the wealthy always getting wealthier while we, the working public, pad the way for them.  In America, for the poor and middle class, there is no way out.

General Comments:

We would love to be able to afford a few ‘luxuries’ but we can barely afford the necessities.  My retirement was necessitated by my worsening MS symptoms.  My spouse would love to retire, as he is elderly and is an insulin dependent diabetic, but he doesn’t want us to be put in a position where we are forced to choose between housing or, groceries or, heat or, medical care or prescription meds.

Medicare, although better then nothing, is a joke.  It has a premium, a deductible and has very LIMITED pay outs.  After Medicare premium is deducted from Social Security, Social Security is a joke.
