Why I Stamp:

There seems to be a lot of political division right now. The digital era has created a fascinating paradox where we experience more connectivity than our brains can handle yet feel lonelier than ever.

Seeking opportunities for social engagement with others of differing political views can help us feel more connected and less divided when we listen respectfully.

People use to go to the library looking for information, but they found community instead. With the decline of public free spaces to access human connection, we become less grounded by humanity and more vulnerable to radical media influence that put our democracy at risk.

Seek opportunities for human connection and civic engagement to break down the prejudices of political polarization. Build healthy civic conversations by listening in non judgmental ways and showing respect for one another.

Australia recently passed a law for 2026 drastically limiting political donations for campaigns in an attempt to limit political corruption in their elections.

Finding a fair and viable solution to get money out of politics is key to building a democracy for all people. Our democracy is not for sale!
