Why I Stamp:
Peptide molecules are mostly natural endogenous ligands with strong affinity to receptors and good selectivity, making them a class of molecules that are relatively easy to develop into lead compounds and drugs. Currently, the main problems faced in the development of peptide drugs include poor stability, short half-life, high plasma clearance rate, and other shortcomings in drug-like properties. Peptides typically can only be administered through injection, leading to poor patient compliance. More information: Lead Peptide Optimization
