Should I Preemptively Replace a 4-Year-Old Car Battery? 1 month agoI’d definitely replace it now before you get stranded in a freezing parking lot. Four years is a decent lifespan for a standard battery in extreme climates. When you shop for a new one, pay close attention to the Cold Cranking Amps (CCA). Higher is always better for winters.
