I finally decided to give my natural hair a break and bought my first wig for an upcoming wedding. It’s a body wave unit, but honestly, it looks a bit too “doll-like” straight out of the box. The shine is giving it away immediately. I’ve heard about using dry shampoo or baby powder, but I don’t want it to look gray or dusty. Does anyone have a foolproof method to make a synthetic or blend wig look more like natural human hair?
