      What is the Stamp Stampede?

Good question. The Stampede is a grassroots campaign, started by Ben Cohen of Ben & Jerry's ice cream, to reduce the corruptive influence of big money in the U.S. political system. We're creating a mass visual demonstration by rubber-stamping our dollars with messages like "Not 2 B Used 4 Bribing Politicians" and "Stamp Money Out of Politics" -- turning our money into miniature billboards to be seen all across this country. Hundreds of people see these stamped dollar while they're in circulation, and with over 50,000 people already participating in the Stampede, our mass efforts are helping to build a movement against the influx of big money in politics.

      Is stamping legal?

Why yes, our campaign stamping money is 100% legal.

      What counts as "tip money"?

Snap a photo of your stamped dollars that fall under these two categories: (1) The money given to you as tip for your hard work providing your services to someone, or (2) The cash you might use to tip people like your favorite waiters, bartenders, baristas, etc.

How many photos can I enter?

You can enter as many photos as you'd like.

How many pints is a year's supply of Ben & Jerry's ice cream?
