The Stampede is a non-profit 501c3 organization.

Ben Cohen has been doing a lot of traveling, and speaking lately!  From the East Coast, over to the Deep South, up into the Heartland, and over to the Mid-West, Ben has been spreading the movement to get money out of politics, in his unique way!  Ben recently spoke at an event organized by the Chicago Coalition to Overturn Citizens United.  Held at the Chicago Temple on November 13th, Ben introduced an audio presentation that clearly shows the listener how much money is really infiltrating our elections, and the implications that it has on the voter, such as you or I.  Check out this clip, taken from his full speech.

At the end of the video Ben asks "now, who do you think the politicians are listening to?" Well, let's change that NOW!  Keep on stamping!  The beauty of the Stampede is that as we all keep on stamping, our voices begin to become louder and clearer! Help build the movement to get money out, and share this video with at least one person you think would like to join the Stamp Stampede today!

B. E. Murphy:

I am glad to have been at the Chicago event with Ben Cohen. Ben Cohen has been in there fighting on behalf of Americans from way back. I’ll never forget his “oreo cookies” demonstration showing the humongous amounts of money spent on our wars, nor a further demonstration, along the same lines wherein his face was covered with BB’s, save only the glass screen between his face and the BB’s. He uses such methods which are indisputable as to the facts emphasized.
It was a pleasure to have been there and observe his Stamp-Stampede campaign efforts, as he did with equal clarity as those he had done previously, in an effort to show the actual imbalance allowable by Citizens United.
Thanks, Ben, for your continued fight and for coming to Chicago!

The Amendment Gazette:

The decision that money is speech (Buckley v Valeo) was decided 7-1, not 5-4.

Other than that, this is a great example of money drowning out the voice of we the people.

Jerry Peterson:

The main thing that holds me back from donating to Progressive candidate mail request is the certain knowlege most of the $$ I would write a check for ends up in the pockets of the already rich TV station owners.
